Sphere Aarhus

Red Bull, the popular energy drink brand, has revealed plans for its newest esports and gaming venue, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus, located in Denmark. Set to open on April 21st, this will be Red Bull’s largest gaming venue worldwide.

The Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus will serve as the epicentre for Red Bull’s gaming and esports activities in Denmark and Northern Europe, combining an event space, gaming centre, tournament venue, and broadcasting studio. Boasting over 160 PC gaming stations, an esports arena, a streaming room for content creators, a console area, Simracers, a boot camp room, and a Bytes takeaway restaurant, the venue is set to offer a top-notch gaming experience.

In collaboration with C4 Gaming, a local gaming centre that has been operating in Aarhus since 2016, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus will host a minimum of 30 annual events. These events will range from watch parties, game releases, and signing sessions to meet-and-greets with Red Bull pro teams and players, as well as final events at major tournaments and leagues.

Hassan Abdirahman, CEO of C4 Gaming, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are honoured and proud that Red Bull has chosen to collaborate with us on their Red Bull Gaming Sphere concept in Denmark, and we look forward to being able to invite everyone to a premium gaming experience when we open the doors on April 21st.”

Red Bull has been making significant strides in the esports scene in Europe, including partnerships with esports organisations like Team Heretics in Spain. Additionally, the brand has confirmed the upcoming Red Bull Contested, a major UK Fortnite LAN event scheduled to take place on June 10th in Edinburgh, Scotland.
