Shaoling is Kiungo Games Dojo Prime champ
Ivorian Tekken gamer, Emmanuel Junior “Shaoling” Gueu, completely dominated at the Kiungo Games Dojo Prime tournament on September 24 to take home 220 points on his journey towards qualifying for the 2022 Tekken World Tour (TWT) Finals, which is scheduled to take place in 2023.
Shaoling would get past N’guetta “Kurama” Wenceslas Ehouman (2-0), MajinDuu (2-0), Tueur de légende (2-1), Kazama225 (2-1), and Hakim “Skywalker” Touré (3-1) before facing off against Skywalker again in the Grand Final of the event, defeating his fellow countryman 3-0 to take home the Kiungo Games Dojo Prime trophy and the €245 ($236.8) first place prize.
The Kiungo Games Dojo Prime brought together 32 of West Africa’s best Tekken gamers to duke it out for a slice of the competition’s €764 ($738.5) prize pool. Participants were also looking to pick up points as they look to secure West Africa’s slot for the 2022 Tekken World Tour (TWT) Finals, which is scheduled to take place in 2023.
Currently, Emmanuel Junior “Shaoling” Gueu leads the Tekken World Tour West African Leaderboard with a combined 415 points, 85 points ahead of his closest rival, Hakim “Skywalker” Touré, who has accumulated 330 points on the leaderboard, with third place going to Raphaël “LK-Bosfort” Agbacou with 136 points.
