Week 1 of the ongoing 2022 PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL)-Africa Fall sees Nigerian PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) giants Slime 4kT finish at the top of the log, securing 301 points.

The Nigerian team of Joseph “199Pronto” Olaleye, Taofeek “33Storm” Oyerinde, Oluwafemi “Fex” Ogunsanya, Hakan “Zeus” Obayendo, Yahya “77Plazza” Jouilla and Aleksandar “Coa77” Cvijanović currently lead their closest rivals, Titan Gaming from Kazakhstan, by 35 points, with Morocco’s Leaders Esports in third place with 244 points.

Slime 4kT was recently crowned the Season 5 Umzansi Esports League PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) champion, finishing the continental competition 69 points ahead of second-placed Mad Night of Somalia and 101 points ahead of Team Unique of Morocco in third place.

The Nigerian side has been impressive so far this year, also making history by winning the maiden edition of the 3 Crowns Esports organised Africa Elite Championship (AEC), beating out Morocco’s One Round Esports and Black Cobra to claim the ultimate as well as a spot in the Africa Elite League, which kicks off on September 8.
