Senegalese esports giants, Solo Esports have secured their ticket to the International Esports Federation‘s (IESF) 14th World Esports Championships to be held in Bali, Indonesia from December 1 – 12.

The team booked their place at the Senegalese Association of Gamers (SENGAMES) Bali Qualifiers that were held in Dakar on June 25. The competition saw over 100 gamers looking to become the nation’s representatives at the global event in either efootball or PUBG Mobile.

After hours of intense competition, the Solo Esports PUBG Mobile team would secure their place as the nation’s representatives at the upcoming event picking up 99 points, 54 points ahead of second-placed Valhalla Esports who claimed 45 points, and Way of Success would place third with 43 points.

Former Solo Esports gamer and Africa No.1 Haddiyatou Lahi Diouf popularly known as “momojuve” claimed the efootball ticket defeating Scoop 2-0 in the Grand Finals.

“It was high level, I met very, very good players, I played it from experience,” momojuve stated after the Qualifiers.

This will be momojuve’s second time representing the West African nation at the World Esports Championship, with his last appearance at the competition coming during the 2021 edition held in Eilat, Israel where he placed in 5th position.

“Before Bali, there are the continental finals, it will be very difficult, but before there is the Open which starts on June 27 and I remain very focused on the Open. I’m extremely happy, I’m happy to represent Senegal for the second time in a row, it’s really nice.” the Senegalese star stated
