Tribe Simba owner lists his top African gamers

The owner of Kenyan esports organisation, Tribe Simba Esports, James Karanu, has revealed who he believes are the continent’s top esports gamers.

James revealed this on his official Twitter handle, stating that his list of seven (8) gamers who compete in five (5) different games is not in any order.

The list contains names such as South African Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) gamer Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek, Mortal Kombat (MK) gamer from Zambia, Justin “Mr. 5000” Banda, and Kenyan Tekken gamer Mickey “Mickey” Muhoro, among others. 

Below are James Karanu’s “Top 8 African Esports Hall-Of-Fame GOATs” in no particular order;

  1. Sonic – CS:GO
  2. Mr. 5000 – MK
  3. Mickey – Tekken
  4. Bianchi – FIFA
  5. Dexx – FIFA
  6. Xhosa – Rainbow Six Siege
  7. jMSkiy – Rainbow Six Siege
  8. Momojuve – eFootball

The Tribe Simba Esports owner’s list seems to be gaining interest online as people engage with the post suggesting gamers he may have overlooked.
