Ace gamers Set to Compete in the Nigerian competition
Ace Gamers has announced that it will compete in Season 2 of the DegaCup Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) competition, which begins on November 5th.
The Ghanaian esports team confirmed their intention to compete via their official Twitter feed. In a lighthearted moment, the team poked fun at themselves and requested the other participants to be kind to them.
Ace Gamers recently introduced a new group of gamers that have joined the team to compete in Call of Duty events. The players were announced among a handful of players presented by the team to represent them in FIFA competitions.
Season 2 of DegaCup’s Call of Duty Mobile tournament, which is set to begin on Saturday, November 5th, will feature esports teams from throughout Nigeria fighting for glory. The group stages will span 10 days, ending on Tuesday, November 15, after which the Round of 16 will begin the following day and go until November 20.
According to the calendar, the competition will conclude on November 27 with the grand finale and third-place match. The cup competition organisers drew out the prize pool structure for the competition’s winner, first runner-up, second runner-up, and MVP. The DegaCup Call of Duty Mobile Competition is a 10N8E initiative supported by financial technology company Carbon and Monster Energy Nigeria.
We have yet to see how the Ace gamers fare in the competition, but we will certainly be watching.
