Comic Con Africa & Unplug Yourself to hold an all boardgames event

This year’s Comic Con Africa is set to see tabletop gaming form a key part of the event, with the continent’s largest multi-genre pop-culture and gaming festival partnering with Unplug Yourself to host several board game parties in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

The board game parties are set to build excitement ahead of Comic Con Africa, which is set to take place at the Johannesburg Expo Centre from September 22–25.

The event will feature amazing tournaments and competitions as well as shops where visitors can purchase collectables, trading card games, and other tabletop games.

Below are some of the awesome tournaments and activities planned:

• Pokemon – 23 September 2022
• Magic the Gathering – 24 September 2022
• The official release of Kick starter (Dungeon Brah) – 24 September 2022
• Yu-Gi-Oh! – 25 September 2022
• Star Wars and Marvel Miniatures Competitions and Activities – 22-25 September 2022
• Boardgame demo’s/Learn to Play – 22-25 September 2022
• EXIT – The Game: Scavenger Hunt – 22-25 September 2022
• Dungeons and Dragons – 22-25 September 2022

It should be noted that the above schedule is subject to change.
