Ekasi Esports & Tshimologong’s ‘Esports & Gaming Day’ set for tomorrow

South African esports organisation Ekasi Esports and Digital Innovation precinct Tshimologong’s upcoming Esports and Gaming Day event is set to kick off tomorrow March 26 in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

Founded in 2017, Ekasi Esports is an entertainment brand that catalyses growth for its players, content creators and partners. According to the brand’s website they look “to build a leading esports lifestyle brand, through developing content that is engaging and entertaining, creating top-of-the-line merchandise and delivering excelling performance in tournaments and leagues, while providing value for our partners.”

The Esports and Gaming Day which Ekasi Esports is holding in collaboration with Tshimologong Precinct seems to be following the brand’s mission, as it is set to give gamers a chance to show off their gaming skills by participating in one of the various esports competitions set to be on show at the event.

The event is also set to include local game developers and studios giving them the opportunity to show off their creations to the public.
