NESA Esports Athletes Shine at World Esports Championship


Namibian esports athletes left an indelible mark on the global stage at the 15th World Esports Championship (WEC23), organised by the International Esports Federation (IESF) in the picturesque city of Iasi, Romania. Competing across three different gaming titles, these athletes, backed by the Namibian Electronic Sports Association (NESA), demonstrated their prowess and elevated the nation’s profile in the international esports arena.

The WEC23, held from August 26th to September 3rd, 2023, brought together elite esports competitors from around the world. Namibia’s delegation, meticulously prepared and supported by NESA, showcased their skills and determination across eFootball 2023, Tekken 7, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (ML:BB).
