Playprovince Gains Momentum in Africa
The recent increase in esports activities in Ghana has also seen a steady rise of esports teams in both Ghana and the African continent in general and play Province is one of the names dominating all the genres of esports tournaments in Ghana.
Playprovince since it inception has led the way in the development and growth of esports teams in Ghana. Some prestigious accolades the team bagged in 2022 includes their Team member wining the Ghana eTrophy, to be part of the official Ghana esports team.
The team also topped the continental qualifiers to represent Ghana at the Global Esports Federation World Summit held in Turkey in Dec 2022. The wining mentality and winning streaks is evident in their mantra “we play, win and evolve”.
Their most recent success came on February 25 at the Ultimate Pro Gaming Tournament held at the aviation social centre where they won one of the largest price pools on Ghana’s esports tournament history.
The team is set for more glory as the year has only just begun and the esports tournament space in Ghana and Africa is heating up.
