Registration for the 2nd season of the Masters Pro League (MPL) – which kicks off on May 19 – is currently ongoing.

The competition is open to gamers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and will see them battle it out in four different games (i.e FIFA 22, Street Fighter V, Valorant and PUBG Mobile).

The MPL Season 2 has a total prize pool of 170,000 MAD ($16,921) and competitors will have to battle it out in four stages to get a slice of that purse.

The Valorant competition has a prize pool of 80,000 MAD ($7,963) with first place set to receive 50,000 MAD ($4,979) with second and third receiving 20,000 MAD ($1,991) and 10,000 MAD ($995) respectively.

FIFA 22 competitors will be looking at a 40,000 MAD ($3,981) prize pool with the top dog securing 20,000 MAD ($1,991), second-place 12,000 MAD ($1,194) and third-place 8,000 MAD ($796).

Street Fighter V has a prize pool of 30,000 MAD ($2,986) with the top fighter in the competition receiving 15,000 MAD ($1,493) and the second-placed battler securing 9,000 MAD ($896) and third 6,000 MAD ($597).

PUBG Mobile will see first place claim 10,000 MAD ($995) with second and third securing 6,000 MAD ($597) and 4,000 MAD ($398) respectively for a grand total 20,000 MAD ($1,991) prize pool.

Season 2 kicks off with Qualifiers from May 19 to June 31 before moving on to the Group Stage & Playoffs from July 1 to 24. The Grand Finals of the competition will then be held from August 4 -14.
